The holy Quran says that :
(20:5): “The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established.”
All praise is due to Allah as we seek him and seek for his help in the time of trouble and need. He is the only one to give us refuge from evil, Allah guides us like no one can guide us. Understanding Islam is our fundamental task as muslims. Prophet peace be upon him has described Islam as the religion of peace. So the meanings of Islam is to submit to the will of God and accept his supreme powers.
However knowing that Allah is our one and only God and he is the best friend and merciful companion, some questions might come to a human mind that can be daunting to answer. But the right understanding of Islam enable us to find the answer to the questions like what does Allah looks like? How do we know Islam is the True Religion of Allah and How can you believe n God when you are not able to see or hear or touch him physically.
Coming to the third question first, as all muslims believe that no one has ever seen Allah or God in his real form and never will be able to see him no matter how hard they try, unless God gives them power to like he gave prophet Muhammad. But Islam encourages muslims to use their senses and wisdom to be able to realize that the universe cannot come into existence without a creator. Someone designed all this fabulous infinite universe and his name is Allah as revealed by Quran and prophet’s. When we see a painting, we do not see its painter, that is the case with Allah, we see and enjoy his beautiful universe but cannot see its creator with out own eyes.
How do we know Islam is the true religion of Allah? Well Islam is the only religion that tells about the sole worship of Allah, all the other religions have different beliefs than Islam. The Quran is a book that does not contain any contradiction. It is not based on science, it is based on real facts that science can prove after 1400 years now. Allah has challenged the entire world to produce a book like Quran, Prophet Muhammad was the greatest person who was ever born on this planet. As the Quran says:
Allah does not forbid you with regards to those who do not fight you for [your] faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them; for Allah loves those who are just. (Qur’an, 60:8)
There is no compulsion in religion. (2:214)
Islam permits non muslims to live their lives according to their beliefs and also.Therefore Islam is the true religion of God.
What does God look like? Nobody has seen God but Allah is described by the holy prophet Muhammad peace be upon him as the perfect and unlike any of his creations. A muslim does not have the right to say anything about Allah other than what Allah says about himself. Therefore the personality and looks of Allah are unique and pure. No one can ever compare with Allah looks like.
