Uncountable benefits of Quran. There are so many countless and unlimited benefits of Allah’s names and Bismillah that it would take a whole day to describe them fully. Except for Surah Tawba, Bismillah has been used in Quran before the start of every surah.

It is narrated in Tafsir al-Burhaan that the Holy Prophet (S) in which he described that upon the recitation of “Bismillah…” then five thousand ruby palaces are built for him in Jannah Each palace has a thousand chambers made of pearls and in each chamber has seventy thousand thrones of emerald and each throne has seventy thousand carpets made from special fabrics and upon each carpet is seated a Hur-ul-Ein.

The Holy Prophet (S) has also described that when a person will cross the Pul-e-Siraat on the Day of Judgement, and he will say “Bismillah…” then the fire and flames will diminish below him and he will be able to cross easily. The hell will cry out as well and say ‘O believer, pass through quickly, your presence is causing my fire to die out !’

When a teacher teaches his student to recite the “Bismillah…” he and the child’s parents are free from hell fire. Once the Prophet Muhammad was passing through a graveyard and he saw the signs of punishment on the person inside the grave,  prophet Muhammad asked God that what was his sin. God revealed that this person was a sinner and his wife was pregnant and soon gave birth to a son. When the boy grew older, his mother took him to a teacher who taught him to recite “Bismillah…”, therefore he is forgiven and his punishment was stopped.

Benefits of Surah e Fatiha

Surah Fatiha is considered both ‘makki’ and ‘madani’ ie. it was revealed in both Makkah and Madinah.

Surah Fatiha is the most powerful surah of Quran when someone recites it, God gives him the sawab of reading the 2/3rd of Quran.  Taurat (Torah), Injeel (Bible), Zabur (Psalms) or even the Qur’an itself declare this a powerful tool for the Muslims to seek paradise and blessings. .”

Imam AbuAbdillah Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) has said that whoever cannot be cured by Surah al-Fatihah, then there is no cure for that person. It is also said by him that if you recite it 70 times on a painful part of the body, then the pain will die. If it is recited 70 times upon a dead body, the body will start moving.

Surah al-Fatihah is a cure for physical and also spiritual problems of mind and soul. The surah is an integral part of prayers five times a day.

Surah al-Baqarah (The Cow)

This Surah has 286 verses and is a ‘madani’ Surah ie. it was revealed in Madinah. It is also the longest Surah in the Holy Qur’an.

The Holy Prophet (S) has said that when a person recites the first four verses of Surah al-Baqarah along with ‘ayatul curse’ together with the last three verses of this Surah his life, property, and family is safe from all evil eye and  Shaitan will be powerless against those.

Surah Ali-’Imran (The Family of Imran)

Its one more verse about benefits of Quran. Surah Ali-Imran has  200 verses and it was revealed in Madinah. The Holy Prophet (S) has said that when a person recites Surah Ali-’Imran on Friday, Allah showers his mercy upon him until the sun goes down.

The Prophet (S) has also recommended this Surah for the women who cannot conceive.
