1: Sunnah & Nafl Prayers:
Make a habit of praying sunnah prayers before & after the Farz (Obligatory) Prayers. It will increase your attention before Farz Prayers. The most important benefit is that you attain Taqwa & Purity.
2: Remembrance of Allah SWT:
Remember allah SWT every morning & evening. It will boost your Faith(Imaan). It will freshens your heart. Particularly perform Zikr( Remembrance of Allah SWT) after each Salah. Some of the prominent supplications, which should be performed every morning & evening are:
- 1st Kalima ( Kalime tayyiba) – 100 times
- 3rd Kalima – 100 times
- Istigfar – 100 times
- Durrod-shareef- 100 times
Some which should be performed after each Salah are
- Subhanallah – 33 times
- Alhamdulillah 33 times
- Allahuakbar 33 times
- 3rd kalima – 1 time
3: Reciting Holy Quran:
Make a regular habit of reciting Holy Quran. It will freshens your mind & will increase mental ability. Recite up to your ability. Be consistent and not haste in reciting the Holy Quran. Also recite the Translation as it will help you in gaining attention while you recite the Holy Quran in Salah.
4: Additional Nafl Prayers:
Perform Nafl prayers at your ease. These prayer will come handy on the Day of Judgement. In this material Earth, it will look like wasting time, But the value of this prayers will be known on the Day of Judgement. Some Nafl Prayers are:
- Ishraq ( 2,2 rakats)- Prayed 1 hour after Fajr Prayer
- Chast/Duha (2,2 rakats) prayed when the Sun is very hot
- Awwabeen ( 2,2,2 rakats) prayed between Magrib & Isha Prayers
- Tahajjud ( Upto 12 rakats ) prayed at midnight
5: Supplication:
Ask Allah SWT for any of your need & the best time is after every Salah. Plead before Allah SWT.Always recite the corresponding Dua for the corresponding time. If you are Sleeping, Eating, Entering & Exiting Masjid, Drinking water, Entering & Exiting Home, Climbing up & down stairs,Travelling etc. These supplication will be written in your account & will beneficial & advantageous on the Day of Judgement.
