Islamic Revolution. When we look at the ancient civilizations before the time of the Prophet of Islam, the ancient civilizations such as Greek, Egyptian, Roman and Persian- all were polytheistic (shirk), which means they were not believers of Allah. They have different Gods and some of them used to worship various entities like earth (Goddess Gaiga now in the west), rivers, mountains, sun, moon or stars. Islam arrives and discarded all these false concepts; it brought forward the Islamic revolution that can be proved by the science in the modern times.
The polytheists have a strange belief about the river water movement. They used to believe that there is some goddess of river who has the powerful attributes to move the water in the river as a stream. But Islam revealed that river is also the creation of Allah Muslims found ways to exploit the rivers on a large scale.
The Adventures of Muslim Scientists
The irrigation system was developed by the Spanish Muslims, they also developed Departments of agriculture and irrigation in the universities. The trees and soil were their subjects of interest due to which they were able to convert the infinite lands into rich fertile orchards. The greenery and lush green fields is an example of Islamic revolution in the past. They used seas, rivers and lakes to prove that water is not God and they can control it by technology. .
Polytheism (shirk) was prevalent until the 7th century. Tawhid quickly replaced it and it opened the doors of knowledge and research in the Islamic world. The modern scientific revolution is based on the revolution created by Muslim scientists. Therefore the face of the globe was change by Islam which produced many developments with the exploration of nature.
Some kings and priests were also claimed as God’s representatives on earth in the past times. Islam proved that it was only a superstition. The world was rid from the false practice of idolatry. The Greeks excelled in the fields of art and philosophy, the contribution of Archimedes’ hydrostatics was actually quite negligible. Roman Empire did not even produce a single scientist due to their false beliefs. Only the environment of Islam laid the foundation for scientific research that lead to the conquest of natural phenomena. The modern scientific industry is a consequence of the Islamic revolution which is described in Quran.
Dark Ages of Europe
The Europe was also in the dark ages from sixth century to the 10th century. At that time, the Islamic scientists were researching the universe at their peak and Muslim universities in Spain, Sicily, Cairo, and Baghdad were flourishing. The emancipation of the human thought was possible through Islamic revolution. The library of Cordova (Spain) in the tenth century alone had the 400,000 books, whereas the Christian libraries of Europe only had 1800 books in the 13 the century. The creative scholars were born during those days.
Apart from all of the above civilizations, Hindus also believed in millions of gods and goddesses during the past few centuries. The Islamic revolution totally discards the worship of any other entity other than Allah SWT.
