The women rights have been decently described in Quran at various places, the large population of women are converting to Islam in the world today from various parts of world. This interest gives birth to many issues and questions for the converted Muslim women who need to implement the Islamic principles in a best way.
Issues Concerning Muslim Women
Women are trying to improve their position in the society in social, political and economic ways. There are many nationalities of women in the Muslim world.
Islam gave women the rights that no other religion gives them. It is against the unnecessary freedom of women but gives clear instructions about their rights of ownership, decision-making in marriage, divorce and many more issues. Islam and Hadith (words and deeds of Prophet Muhammad) declare men and women as equal partners as those who are expected by God to “enjoin the doing of what is right and forbid the doing of what is wrong” (9:71) in all areas of life.
After the death of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, the Islamic laws were not practiced strictly in the world and declining Islamic values have created confusion in the minds of Muslim women regarding divorce and marriage laws. Exclusion of women from the mosques and double standards applied to male and female children are the major issues these days. The major problem areas need attention.

There are a number of Muslim women who are protesting and struggling and demanding their rights guaranteed by Islam. On the other hands, the women are also becoming Islamic scholars in various universities in the Muslim as well as the European world.
There are many challenges faced by Muslim women indeed. The true image of a Muslim woman communicated by God in Quran seems hardly visible in many parts of the world. The laws of Quran for women are made for the betterment of society.
“And thus does their Lord answer their prayer: I shall not lose sight of the work of any of you who works (in My way) be it Muslim man or Muslim woman: You are members, one of another.” (3:195).
