Why European women are turning to Islam. In England, Unprecedented numbers of people who are turning to Muslims are nearly all women. This increasing rate of conversion to Islam reveals that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. The next 20 years are going to bring the  incredibile number of European females towards Islam that is a positive sign.

Rose Kendrick is a religious education teacher at a Hull comprehensive says: “Islam is as much a world faith as is Roman Catholicism. No one nationality claims it as its own”. Islam is also spreading fast on the continent and in America.

The Popularity of Islam

Despite some negative image of the faith in the western media and controversial Islamic concepts, the religion is growing rapidly in the world. The conversion has accelerated in women despite the wrong concept that Islam does not give freedom to women for living their lives fully. The same growing number is in United States, women converts outnumber men by four to one. The Muslim community of Britain has grown to a massive number of 1 to 1.5 million in the recent years

The women who have accepted Islam are from the middle class backgrounds mainly.  Their ages have been found between 30 to 50 according to a survey.

As the prophet Muhammad” said, “The light of Islam will rise in the West” and that is exactly what is happening in the 21^st century. Western converts are coming to Islam with fresh mind and eyes, leaving all their old habits behind. The purest form of Islam is found in some homes of the West where the burning desire to follow the teachings of Islam in women is awesome. The rise in crime rates, the rape cases and the brutality on women lead them towards exploration of Islam, which provides them the best shelter and protection for their rights in the civilized world.

Quest of the Converting to Islam 

Many women who have been practicing the guidelines of Jesus Christ and Christianity find immense intellectual satisfaction in the teachings and scriptures of Islam. The students of theology after their successful research decide to convert due to the clear concepts of Islam regarding sin and good deeds.
Story of Maimuna
Maimuna is 39 years old. She was raised as a High Anglican was a devoted female towards religion. She thought about taking the veil when she was 15, her discussions with nuns turned out hopeless. She was enraged and her faith in Islamic value grew stronger. She left the church and the dogma, studied various religions like Judaism, Buddhism and Krishna Consciousness, and then finally decided to turn to Islam.

Why European women are turning to Islam. Many converts also reveal that there is a sense of lack of leadership in the Church of England. Some Christians believe that pre-marital sex is not haram if you love a person and going to marry them. But Islam is not a changing religion; it describes clearly what is forbidden. The solid base of Islam is the reason for attraction for all the women who are getting sick of false beliefs.
